You are not alone. I just begin nursing school and am already suffering anxiety and depression. I work during the day and going to school at night. I cope with my anxiety and stress by talking to my supportive family and friends who always set me straight from my negative thoughts.
Borrowing the words from my friends, "Girl, you just need to chillex (chill & relax)". Also, deep breathing exercise can really help when you are drowning the dark moment.

You could try taking SAM E. It is a supplement and can work wonders for some. They sell it at pretty much every drug store and super store (Target, Walmart, CVS, grocery stores...) My Mom's naturopath had her try it before recommending a Rx.
Here is a little info about it, and just a FYI, it take a few days/weeks to notice results.
SAMe is used for depression, anxiety, heart disease, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis,bursitis, tendonitis, chronic lower back pain, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, slowing the aging process, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), improving intellectual performance, liver disease, and Parkinson's disease. It is also used for attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, seizures,migraineheadache, and lead poisoning.
Some women use SAMe for premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and a more severe form of PMS called premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

Hello everyone! I go to school 42.5 hrs per week, mostly clinical hours. I am 2 months away from my graduation. I started to develop anxiety and depression because I find myself sooo stressed out. I am trying to handle it naturally and relying on God to pull me through this. I've come a long way and I'm feeling much better.
I just wonder if any other LPN/LVN students are going through the same thing? & if so how do you cope with it (other than any medications--i do NOT want to take meds)
