Has anyone taken ANP 101 and/or 102 online @ any Ivy Tech campus? I was just wondering how that worked with labs and exams. Are the exams moderated some how? How do you complete your labs? Any feedback on this would be very helpful, thanks so much! :)

I'm taking 102 online through the Terre Haute campus right now. We have 2-3 chapters of lecture to teach ourselves every week, and online labs to do weekly. We also have to order a fetal pig to have at our house for some labs as well. We have 4 exams, 2 proctored, and 2 with no proctor (open book, at home) and lab quizzes (open book) every week. I'm only 2 weeks in, but I don't feel like it's the best option for me. I have trouble trying to teach myself all of the lecture material every week.
Thanks for the information. I don't think I could handle having a fetal pig in our house!! We have two golden retrievers, four cats, and a toddler...I'm thinking adding a fetal pig would be a recipe for disaster as someone or something would surely er...discover it.

After having ANP 101 and 102 in the classroom, I can't imagine doing it online. It's just one of those classes where you really need that classroom and lab experience. Hope this helps!
