This woman came to the ER and told me she had centipede.

Centipede???

Yes, she had been admitted to ICU last month for

"centipede".

They changed her regular medicine, sent her to cardiac rehab. Now she had musculoskeletal aches and pains.

After pulling her medical record she had a big MI, cathed, stents placed and

admitted to ICU with what started with her passing out.

With all that was going on she never heard "Heart Attack", Cardiac Cateterization,

Angioplasty or Stents. All she got out of it was SYNCOPE (a.k.a. Centipede)megaroftl.gif

Yes, Esme, DFO is a real diagnosis down here. And I hesitate to tell you what PFO is, but let's just say the LOL at the nursing home urinated and fell.

We had a patient who had skin cancer, and one of the newbie nurses was asking how to chart it (rather than "honkin' big ugly black and green mole") and the charge nurse said, "he's got a malignant nevis" just as the family member of someone else walked by. The family member speeded up and walked into the room next to the station and announced, "Ya'll, they got somebody up in here with a malignant Elvis!"

We had an Elvis themed night from that point on...thank you, thank you very much...

LOL!!! This is too funny! I do wonder why no one ever informed her of her MI though...
