Another Epilepsy Question Please

Published

Some of you may have read my other post, that my baby daughter (18 months old) was diagnosed with Absence Epilepsy. It looks like she freezes up, is paralyzed for a minute and is completely non-responsive. No jerking or traditional convulsions, just PAUSED.

Anyhow, I was trying to think back to see if anything else was going on before these seizures, and I did remember that about two weeks ago she just kept falling down. She must have fallen about ten times one day, maybe more, then had a fever about a week later, then these seizures. I'm just wondering if any of you who have had relatives or patients with seizures know if the falling could be relevant?

No medical advice, just personal experiences if you have any, please.

Thanks

I am so sorry for your daughter's problems. As you acknowledged, we can't provide medical advice. However, maybe someone has had a similar experience and share that with you. Good luck.
