in order to streamline the threads on this topic, i ask that everyone that passes their nursing assistant certification test to please post it in this thread as oppose to starting a separate one. i appreciate everyone's help with this.

Took my written yesterday and my skills today, feeling pretty good about both but now I get to wait for the state...YAY Utah! LOL!! Skipped a CNA meeting at work today to go and get my skills done, think they will mind?
Just an update, just got the letter that I passed my written with a 96, still waiting for the results of the skills, but I took a cancellation appointment 70 miles away from where I lived so that I wouldnt' have to wait another 2 weeks for my original appointment. Hopefully early next week I will know. But for now, off to work at the LTC for another exciting day as a CNA!
Just took my written and skills test yesterday. I was very nervous and stressed out over the skills test and it turned out the written test was so much harder than I anticipated. I always got 97% on tests in the classroom and on the practice online tests....went in very confident. To my surprise, there were a lot of questions I just did not know the answer to. So I'm prayin I passed! Some said their test was easy, others felt as I did. I know there are a few didn't versions of the test.....I wasn't the lucky one to get the easier version. As for the skills, I barely got all 5 done in my 35 minutes. I was running at the end! Got occupied bed, bed bath, mouth care - brushing teeth, transfer w/c to bed and of course handwashing. I'm pretty confident I didn't miss many steps...if any. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed until I get the news!
Woot Woot! I passed my CNA test Aug. 31st, 2010. Along with handwashing, I had measuring respirations, ambulating a patient, Leg ROM, and pericare for a female.
I was about to return to a 3rd shift part-time CNA position, but was just offered a scheduling job for a home health care agency. Not only do I get to sleep the same hours as most humans, I will also get some studying time while I answer phones at a front desk.

Just passed yesterday, phew! I was fine for the written, but was a nervous wreck for the skills - I thought for sure I failed and was shocked when she told me I passed!
Starting a job at a hospital in a couple of weeks, so I'll be getting nervous soon all over again!
