Hello
how many points got you into Anne arundel nursing? I got a 75 on the TEAS but only have 11 or 12 points out of 22. Is this enough to get in?
Shyshy95 said:Same. I work at mercy medical center in Baltimore, MD and one the nursing supervisors is on the aacc nursing committee and she also teaches their Nur 230 course. She said they were only supposed to enroll a certain amount for this nursing cohort but said they are accepting 40 extra students. I forgot the exact enrollment amount she stated. Hopefully we all get into the program.
If you have the chance and remember to ask, could you ask the supervisor how many days per week Nurn 230 meets since she is the instructor? I had to email the dean and she said "it varies." I started nursing school at CCBC (no longer in that program) and their last semester is 5 days per week for three weeks and clinical for 3-4 weeks (no on-campus class) after that. Just trying to find out the difference! I live an hour away so I want to make sure I have the correct info.

During the info session, they told us that clinicals during the first semester start after week 8. Once per week. You'll definitely need a BP cuff and stethoscope, etc but I would wait to buy anything until orientation because some schools require specific items.

Not sure what we would have to get, but I do believe there's one round on clinicals the first semester.
