Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) nursing - Spring 2025

Updated:   Published

Hello

how many points got you into Anne arundel nursing? I got a 75 on the TEAS but only have 11 or 12 points out of 22. Is this enough to get in?

OMG that k you for letting me know. I knew something normally gets sent out after a week or so. I've let admissions know. Thanks again for the information.

Hey, it varies from week to week. For example, it could be:

Week 1   MTF

Week 2  MTWThF

Week 3  MTThF

Week 4 TWTh

etc...

If I'm not mistaken they gave us a draft schedule at the Orientation in November and the finalized one was provided when the course opened on Canvas the Friday before.

Now if you would like for me to break it down by the days in the week I will provide an example.

@MsAtoZ Would you be able to break it down? That would be greatly appreciated!

OK, these are screenshots of my personal calendar for 2 consecutive weeks.

The week beginning 2/11 we had lectures on Monday, Tuesday an exam for NUR 120 (90 minutes), Wednesday was a lab (uniform required), Thursday was an afternoon lecture and exam review, and Friday was Open lab (Optional).

The week beginning 2/18 we had lectures on Monday and Wednesday we had labs (you come in uniform). We had the Midterm exam for NUR 121 on Tuesday (60 minutes). Friday would have been the midterm exam review for NUR 121 (mandatory if you score 74% or less) and optional if you scored higher. Also, later there was an optional open lab (which is skills practice).

Thanks you for sharing this. Is this how the first semester is? Or have the other semesters been been the same ?

Also by any chance are you working while in school or know any students who are able to work part time 12hr shifts while in school?

This is first semester.  Second semester is busier it seems.  There are some people that work. They say it's tougher but they do it.

@MsAtoZ THANK YOU!

Thank you for sharing some of the schedule! Now it makes sense. So it's definitely possible to be on campus five days per week.

Did anyone else get an email this morning saying their application for Spring 2025 was still under review?

Hey and yes my email states the same thing but also asked me to register for one of the mandatory meeting dates in November or either December. What's crazy is I went to do just that because the November date is best for me, it said I was already registered for that day. I never registered for it before either.

That is so weird.  I registered for December 4th so hopefully I'll see you at boot camp!

Did you click under supplemental items to see if you are missing anything? I had to call them so they could manually add transcripts they already had of mine from another school. Once they did that, mine changed to "completed."
