I HIGHLY recommend using Anki. It uses spaced repetition to decrease study time while increasing retention. It also has several amazing add-ons. "Image occlusion" for A&P like information, "Cloze deletion" for memorizing the process or order things occur in & "Forward/Reverse" for learning definitions. I also use it to schedule the notes I need to study. If I have an important outlined notes I need to know, I simply put it into a blank card on Anki and it will tell me when I should review it.

Do you use any premade decks? My husband is in med school and they have SO many premade decks that are great resources but I haven't found any for nursing school/NCLEX. I use anki exclusively for studying

I am sorry for the delay. I am just now seeing this. I didn't use pre-made decks during nursing school or my NP Program. I feel what the information each professor is looking for you to know is so individual that wasn't a good idea (for me at least). I do remember looking for some and none really seemed to fit my needs at the time.
I use anki for other things as well that I think using shared deck was useful. For example, I am learning spanish and there are some really good shared decks for that
