I am taking the class right now and I am very lost. I do not see how these lectures can be put into a test format either. She did say that anyone that takes the test online must have a proctor. I emailed her to ask about that and a couple other things, but have not heard anything yet. Maybe she will elaborate on this a little more in the next class. She said that nobody should have a problem with the class so I'm guessing that it is not going to be super intense (at least I hope not). Anyway, if I hear something I will let you know.

Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Do you have a group yet? I went to the site in Tampa for the first class and meet some people who are in the year ahead of us. It was very helpful. If you live near Orlando, you should do that. I think that I'm going to stay home this week, though, as it is an hour drive. I'm definately going to go to Tampa for the tests to avoid using a proctor.

I have one other person in my group. I'm not sure how we are supposed to work out the groups though... I emailed Maribeth about it and she hasn't written me back. My buddy emailed her to have her approve our topic and she emailed him back with approval but I dont know how many people we are supposed to have etc.

Is this program (Head-Start Program) offered to future students, who have not applied and therefore not accepted yet into the CRNA program?

I understand that the Transition Chem course (ANE 695) can be taken before the application to the program.

Do you know anything about the upcoming exam? I heard from the other students the year ahead of us in Tampa that for other classes to study the power point slides, but they did not know anything specific about this class.

My lit review is going..... We have a topic and all our articles. I'm working on the outline.

Our lit review is going about the same as yours. We have our articles and we met yesterday to put together a rough draft outline. As far as the tests go, I have no idea what to study. I have never heard of having exams in a research class so I don't know what to expect. I am going to study the power points and memorize definitions. I don't know what else we can do.... Good luck!

My group is all over FL, so we're sending lots of e-mails. I wish we could all meet. I think we are doing alot of the same work.

she said something about crna websites and then mentioned gasspasser. I did google "gaspasser" and found a blog by a CRNA. It was interesting. We're almost done! Sooo glad to be doing this now. Have you started applying for financial aid yet?

I didnt hear her say anything. Hmm. Yeah I'm glad I am getting this out of the way now. This class would be dreadful to take in the second semester bc it's so time consuming. That first test was HARD! I hope the second one is a little easier... I did my FAFSA but that's it so far. What about you?
