Lolol nobody reads the forums anymore to check if their questions have already been answered ad nauseam. Sigh
I passed my ANCC FNP exam today first try.
I used Leik review book 3rd ED - it is a golden book
I also look at the questions in Fitzgerald review book. I bought both used books under $100
I religiously read Leik book back to back and went through all the the questions at the end of the book. If you do that there is no reason to spend lots of money in attending/visiting review courses by so and so.
Over all the questions were fair and if you made it through nursing school and grad school legitimately without relying on testbanks etc you should feel confident to pass boards.
I work full-time, have two children who are going virtual schooling and a combative and sabotaging wife and still managed to pass.
If I made it you can make it. No need to panick!
Study systematically and do as many practice questions with rationals as possible. that is the key to success
I was able to pass earier this week on my 1st attempt with ANCC. I did the Barkley Review online course, Hollier question book, and Leik book. My advice would be to not wait too long to take the exam. Do as many questions as possible and go over every rationale. You gain a whole lot more info that way. Don't worry. You got this!
If you need good study notes please email me [email protected] thanks Katrina

Hi
do any of you have any tips on passing the National NP certifications to practice for either ANCC or AANP, even before FNP students graduate and are in their last few semesters?
