Anatomy and Physiology

I'm a student at the university of houston. I'm taking my pre nursing requisites there and although i got As in all my other subjects i got a C in anatomy and physiology I; i plan on applying to nursing school so here's my quesiton...

should i:

a) retake the class at the university

b) retake the class at the local community college

c) don't even bother retaking it...

what would nursing school admissions people be okay with?

By all means re-take.. go ahead and jump into an HCC 'live' course. They're available at many campuses & don't cost very much. You may even be allowed to substitute your second try (with higher grade) when you apply to NS. Even if you don't, the fact that you took the extra effort will undoubtedly count in your favor with the admissions folks.

A & P is absolutely critical to nursing studies. I am sure you will do much better the second time around. The subject matter is just very complex and it sometimes takes a while to understand it.

Thanks so much for your helpful and quick response! =) I'm looking to apply at West Texas A & M, Texas Womens University, Prairie View, and midwestern state....but havent decided for sure..i'm still looking at nursing schools! do you have any suggestions? Where did you go?
