Anatomy....can you get an A with no solid foundation

You definitely can. Anatomy is a lot of memorization and being able to recall that when you need to. I didn't think Anatomy was that hard but I studied at least 4 or 5 times a week. I stayed on top of it and asked lots of questions. You will be fine. Anything is possible.

Beware of the dreaded forearm....that was the hardest part of the body to learn for me.

Anatomy is almost entirely memorization. Almost everyone must learn the bones and the muscles, big exams. You have to start early and work steadily. You can not memorize the names and placements of several weeks worth of material the night before the exam. Your lab time is your friend. Don't waste time there. Maybe you could find another student who did well previously and this person can give you some specific pointers or some tutoring.

Took Anatomy 15 years after graduating high school with my last biology class almost 20 years behind me and had no trouble getting A's.

Like others have said, it's almost all memorization. I liked the online lab software. You could scroll over any body part to reveal the name and practice.

Like PVCCHOO said, even if you don't have the software to do it the human body doesn't change so any online resource you can use to your benefit. If I were you, I would just start doing a general overview of all the major muscles and bones of the body. You'll be one step ahead and a lot of the nerves and arteries you learn are named based on their closeness to muscles and bones. Ex: femoral artery and vein. If you know where the femur bone is...you will know where that artery and vein is.
