I need to take both A&P 1&2 this summer. Does anyone know where I can take that online?

You're going to take both A&P 1 and 2 together during summer? I sure hope you know what you're in for!! Anyways, I do know that you can take them online through RODP. I don't know what college you're attending, but they should offer some sort of online collaborative. You have to be accepted to a "home" campus before you can enroll in their courses, however. But you can check out the RODP website to see if the college you're enrolled in is offered. Good luck!!

I highly recommend you do NOT take both A&P I and II in the same semester...let alone a Summer mini-semester. I also think that taking these classes in a traditional setting is best and you will get more from and remember more information in this way. The labs are extremely helpful by giving you some hands-on experience to understanding concepts. I have completed both A&P I and II with and A and B. I am a very hard working student, but I cannot say I would have made those grades had I taken the courses on-line. However, if you want to take A&P I during a mini-semester it is possible. I took it in the Summer and finished with the A. Good luck, whatever you choose to do.

I wouldn't take them together either. There's a tremendous amount of memorization involved (you need to learn every bone of the skeleton, landmarks on the bones, most muscles, tendons, organs, systems and the biology and chemistry of how they work).

Took a Chemistry class online and it was a good way to learn. But think A&P is much easier in class. You will have "bone boxes" and other anatomy models and learning in a group really helps it stick. An in-person class will have dissections too, which are invaluable to learning the organs and systems.
