I am debating whether I should take each course alone or concurrently?
Has anyone taken both at the same time and found it hard to manage?
My school offered Anatomy and Physiology, separately, as a 5 unit classes with labs, as well. I probably would have taken them the same semester if scheduling allowed, but the classes were so impacted it took 2 tries (semesters) just to get in the anatomy. So I took anatomy alone and then physio and micro together. There were people who did both A and P at the same time and flunked both. But I know two people that took them both at the same time and got As. It is all about the student, how much time they have and are willing to put in and what else they have going on.
As it turned out, having the A before P was good for me. I could really concentrate on pieces and parts. We had human cadavers and it took me a bit to get head around that. My other classes were non-science, so that took the stress off. Then taking physio and micro together was good, because in the beginning there was a lot (chemistry and cellular stuff) that overlapped. The semester with Anatomy was a good warm up for me. It wasn't what I would have chossen, but it turned out just right.
You can always try to do both and drop one if your first exams aren't stellar.
Good luck.

gen rule of thumb, for me, do u care if you get b's,or 1 c if you take 2 science classes at the same time? If you like all A's ,take them separetly!
