Anatomy 2 & Chem or Anatomy 2 & Micro

Published

Hi everyone!

I have not seen any recent posts on this topic but I am returning to nursing school and need some advice! I will be taking Anatomy 2 in the fall but and I need to take either Chemistry or Micro with it. Those will be the only 2 classes I will take and I will only be working part time. What class do you suggest I take with Anatomy 2 and why? I have not taken Chem since high school (6 years ago) and I am not planning on taking the basic chem before taking second year chem ( I received a waiver out of it because I do not have time to take it)

Thank you!

I took micro and a & p2 in the fall of 2014. I liked a&p and absolutely loved micro. A few weeks into the semester, we started learning about the body systems in both classes, however, micro was more focused on the disease part. It turned out to be great for me due to the common terms and similar chapter information. I was able to get all A's. I then took chemistry...inorganic and organic the following Spring & Summer semesters respectively. I can tell you for a fact that I had to work extra hard to get my A's in these classes and the information in chem is almost completely different. A&P and Micro are a good match. You won't regret it!
