Also in regards to a patient with Pulmonary valve stenosis, should there IV fluid volume intake be the same as when TKVO at 10 or 20ml/hr or can it be slightly more?
With pulmonic stenosis, it's going to depend on the patient's condition, but if you're dealing with congestive heart failure, the patient may be on diuretics and fluid restriction, not receiving IV fluids at all.

Hi again
I have a question related to programming IV infusion rate and volume. For instance, if in an emergency situation a doctor states 250ml fluid stat. Does this mean the volume is set at 250ml and rate 999ml/hr - or have i got it mixed around
well something like that anyways.
