So apparently in Texas, you can only take the NCLEX 3 times in 4 years. What happens if you don't pass it by then? Do you have to just wait 4 years to be a nurse? Has that ever happened to you or anyone you know? Most states let you take it an unlimited amount of times - why does Texas have to be the toughest?
EDIT: Nevermind, the BNE site says you have unlimited tries for 4 years after graduation. I got the faulty information from the AJN 2006 Career Guide. I feel better now!!
