I'm looking into a company called Nurses RX, which is a branch of American Mobile. I am wondering what the benefits or differences would be to go with one company or the other. Is there difference in benefits or pay? What is the purpose to have a subgroup? Does anyone work for one of these smaller companies that branches off AMN?

Each "brand" of AM is supposed to appeal to a different kind of traveler so that they cover more travelers. The pay and benefits do vary. Ask your the recruiter for NursesRX. I saw a recent post (not sure if it referred to AM or CC) where the traveler actually stayed with the same recruiter and switched brands!

I've been talking with recruiter with NursesRX concerning an assignment. I read reviews on several different agencies. It's so hard to know which one is safe to use. Any ideas? Complaints?
I recently read that nurses RX is awful... At this point I don't remember where I read that. I think one person can have a great experience and others a bad one. Overall though, heard more bad then good about them. I've been reluctant to try.
I've not heard anything specifically negative about NursesRx other than being an AMN company. Before AMN purchased them (this was basically pre-internet), they really did have a bad rep among travelers. I don't know how much of that was real, and how much was the big company factor (more travelers means more complaints) - they were one of the largest companies at the time.
No matter the agency, a bad or good recruiter will make all the difference.
