In addition to all the panels, speakers, papers and posters there are two nursing informatics events to note.

On Saturday October 22 there will be a day long nursing informatics symposium hosted by the AMIA Nursing Informatics working Group (NI-WG) and Co-sponsored by the Alliance for Nursing Informatics (ANI) and HIMSS.

On Monday, October 24, CARING and AMIA NI-WG will host a luncheon and networking event.
