I need information on American Sentinel's RN to BSN online program. How are the instructors, classes, etc.? Are there proctored exams, many papers, etc.? How long does it really take to finish the program?

No proctored exams. In my 4th class now. Discussion forums and lots of paper writing. I work full time and I have found it manageable

Thanks! I am considering this university or UT-Arlington.

As I have stated in a few other posts, consider Grand Canyon University! And no I do not work for them, lol Only in my 1st class and so far soo good. Quick overview. Each class is only 5 weeks long, so yes they throw a fair bit at ya--but most do work FT and have no problems time wise. And fairly inexpensive, I think around $17000 for the whole course, which includes the books! NO clinicals or proctored exams! 100% online! Yes lot of paper writing as well and group projects.

I went elsewhere but I did look at ASU for an MSN - looks like a good program, but it's not regionally accredited which can limit where classes can transfer. I'd investigate if that's a problem for you before signing up.
