American Sentinel University rn to bsn

They are NOT REGIONALLY ACCREDITED.

This may come back to bite you in the butt if you try to transfer into a Master's program.

I initially looked at their school, but the lack of regional accreditation turned me away.

Thank you, I'll take that into consideration. I'm all over the place when it comes to this decision. My issue is that I'm used to significant amounts of overtime and going to school would change that. I am also looking for an online program where I can take 3-4 hours in 16 week sessions. West Texas A&M university is one that has this kind of format-once the numerous prereqs are completed (Heard of any other?). I have until the end of 2017 to get a BSN or I get dropped from the clinical ladder. Plenty of time but I don't like to procrastinate. Also we get reinbursed $3000 a year. In some measure I just want the bsn to meet the deadline, but potentially my views could change for further education once I get there.

That's not true. I graduated from this University and went on to a regionally accredited school. Infact, I was accepted in three other regionally accredited schools before selecting this one. I would say do your research first before going into any school. if you need to see if a school is recognized by the department of education, go to www.chea.org Good luck!
