Hi everyone! Quick post- just wanted to give back to the community...when I was looking into various FNP programs that both fit my budget and had a challenging curriculum, American Sentinel was one of the schools that I looked into. Unfortunately, although I could find decent information regarding their RN-BSN program, there wasn't much about their FNP program.
It took me months of speaking with them, going through the catalog and finally occurring to me to look at the profiles of NPs on LinkedIn that graduated from American Sentinel to make a final decision. So, even though I don't start my first class until February 17th, I thought I'd just throw this out there in case anyone has questions later on as I progress through the program?
Wow, that is great!! Keep in touch. We really appreciate the updates.

I also work for KP, how did you get it payed for? Is it a certificate program?

Whoaaaa I didn't pay anywhere near $45k. In fact it was half that. Did tuition increase LOL?
Hi yes you would need to talk to your benhundal advisor at kp. FNP is paid through the benhundal trust fund. Yes I was quoted 45k, but out of pocket came out to be 5k after kp helped with tuition. So it’s not completely free, out of pocket it’s 5k over the course of 2.5 years. Still it’s a great discount ?.

Hell yes! They quoted me $22k but I’m interested to know after BMTH
Actually your right LOL! I just checked it out it’s about 25k, so out of pocket 5k. Actually this is one of the cheaper school that being said it’s probably because you would need to find your own clinical sites

Hi everyone! My name is Edward, and I currently in the MSN-FNP program, but my case is a little bit different than everyone else’s. Since I just graduated from my ABSN program this past December 2020, I was given the opportunity with ASU to take the 3Ps (Advanced Patho., Adv. Physical Assessment, and Adv. Pharm) over the course of an entire year (16 weeks/course), so that I can start the MSN-FNP courses after achieving my one year nursing experience requirement.
I wanted to know if anyone has taken the 3P APEA Exam as it is something that we need to pass prior to beginning the FNP portion of the program. Any guidance would be helpful.

Hi Edward! I think we just accepted you to the ASU fb forum, so welcome! Yes, once you complete the 3p's you'll need to pass APEA.
