Hi everyone, 
I just called the nursing department and they notified me that they did do the lottery last week. The message I saw on my nursing portal application did mean that I got selected to be in the program! The person I talked to from the department also said emails should be sent out today or tomorrow! Good luck everybody!

Mine still says submitted. When you called did they mention only the people that got in get the notification online in their portal, or is there still a chance of getting an email?

Hi Giselle,

The person I talked with did not state whether or not everyone who got selected received that message in their portal. She did say that official emails would be going out this week though. From the conversation, I am under the impression of whether or not you got the notification in your nursing portal, you are still going to get an official email from the school regarding your status. She also told me that there's two categories of acceptance, 20 students that are enrolled and 20 that are waitlisted. I hope this helps. 🙂

Mine says last updated 10/23/25. Congrats on getting in!

So if we didn't receive the accept/decline button on our application it means we did not get in? The system sends out these notifications automatically?

When I called the person I talked to said they were sorry for the confusion and I may have just gotten the option early because they ran the lottery last week. I do not know if everyone who got accepted receives one of these notifications because I didn't ask. Also I wasn't notified to check my application, I just happened to check my application portal and the option to accept/decline was there. Also my application still has the status of submitted.

Thank you for the reply and huge congratulations for getting in! I keep checking my portal, still says submitted 😞. Had crying session....I wonder if after the lottery those who got in automatically get notifications to accept or decline in their application portal. If that is the case then I did not get in.

Thank you!! Also don't lose hope yet! Until you get the formal email or call to confirm, I wouldn't assume you didn't get in automatically. They told me to expect emails to go out tonight or tomorrow, end of this week at the latest.

nothing yet. This is very disappointing, I don't understand why they can't just send them all out at the same time. Or at least tell people they didn't get in instead of waiting.

Agree, so stressful 😞 I called them yesterday and they told me they will be sending out emails yesterday and today. I asked if everyone who got in was already notified, did not get a clear answer.

For last years application, I got a rejection email eventually. Weeks after they ended LOL. I wonder, since this is the second application they are using their online system, there might be a delay in how emails get sent? I understand the frustration though because I just want to know!!
