My husband and I will be moving to Germany in the upcoming months, and I'm eventually looking to work as an LPN in a military hospital or clinic...Anyone out there from Ramstein or Landstuhl??
I would love to hear about whether or not they hire civilian LPN's over there??We are very excited about moving to Germany !!
Thanks,
Tricia

When your hubby gets his welcome packet contact the command hospital employment office. With the spouse preference you should do fine! Have fun. I worked in Spain at the Clinic when we were in Europe. I really enjoyed our three years. Take care...

traumaRUs - Did you work in Rota?
No Shiva - Zaragoza and I'm old - this was from 82 to 85! Zaragoza AB closed in 88! Boo hoo. However, I see you're from Las Vegas - we lived there from 90 to 92 and I worked at Sunrise Hospital (then Humana Sunrise) as an LPN on the med-surg floor.
traumaRUs - I was in Rota from 89-93 and really enjoyed it. I miss Spain.
Sorry for the confusion with my name....I've actually never lived in Vegas. Shiva Las Vegas is the name of my dog..... :) I couldn't come up with any other screen name at the time....

Go to the website http://www.cpol.army.mil. They will have vacancy announcements you can look over. You can apply at the same site. Good luck! Enjoy Germany--it's AWESOME!
