Ambria College is not ACEN accredited

I finished my ADON at Ambria and first thing after NCLEX applied to Indiana state and Perdue University. Here is the copy of email I received from Perdue University :

I am sorry but Ambria is not ACEN accredited and we are not able to admit you here at Purdue University Calumet.

Unfortunately it is buyer beware. We try to tell students here all the time about these for profit schools...while it's OK in Illinois it won't be else where.

You may have to call the school and ask who they are affiliated with and call the BON of Illinois about schools that accept this school. This may affect you for a long time. You will just have to look around for a program to accept you. It is clearly on the schools website that they are not nursing accredited.

To all students beware of Non accredited programs!
