Hello,

I am a recent graduate (may) and planning on taking my FNP AANP exam in 2.5 weeks. I am worried that my grades on the practice exams are not good enough. I have listened to the barkley and apea review and plan on taking Dr. Kellermann's review next week.

Here are my grades from the quizes... Should I reschedule my exam? I plan to do the predictor before the review course and 1 after.

You still have 2.5 weeks to study. Plus, all of your scores are in the passing range. 500 out of 800 is a 62%. It looks like you're doing OK. I am getting similar grades on my exam edge (FamilyNP prep) tests, plus I did Fitzgerald live and Barkley cds. I test in a few days. I'll let you know how I do on the AANP. Good luck to us both!

Good luck!!! I want this to be done!!!

It sounds like you're preparing well. I'd suggest studying for two more weeks and then tapering off so you are not burnt out on test day.

I passed my certification today FNP through AANP I found leik review book more helpful than the Fitzgerald review. I went to the live sessions in Columbus, spent at least a $1000 on the review+hotel+expenses. The Leik review book was under $100 and has over 600 practice questions with rationale. I purchased a practice test from AANP a few days ago for $50, I scored 84% on it! it gave me confidence to overcome test anxiety. I studied for approx 3 weeks about 4-6 hours per day. Good luck to you!

I forgot to say I graduated May 3, 2014 from Wright State in Dayton. I had a job offer in hand before graduation and will start June 2. Very exciting time, totally worth all those hours studying.

Congrats!!!! What a relief!!!! I just did a predictor and got a 78%. Hope to improve after a review.

Just passed the AANP family exam!!! Floating on a cloud of relief! I did 7 total FamilyNP Prep tests with a high score of 81%. I also use the Necessary NP 1000 questions book. I found that the Fitzgerald stuff did help quite a bit, more so than the Barkley cds. However, I enjoyed listening to Barkley a lot more. I think it really is the luck of the draw with which questions you get. Good luck to you all. I have to go find a job!

I take the AANP exam in 5 days! I've done the Fitz cds, APEA live review, and went through the Leik book. I like all of them. In addition to the APEA online tests, AANPCP has a practice test for $50 so you may want to see how you do on it. Good luck! Im sure you'll do fine. Like someone stated in an above comment all of your scores are passing!
