Have you tried putting a big black doormat outside the doors? I remember my A&P instructor telling us that her husband works with Alzheimers patients and they found that if there is a big black doormat on the floor, those patients apparently see them as a hole and will walk around them. So, they placed them on the inside of the facility in front of the doors to keep them from trying to "escape". So, maybe if you have some big enough that she can't step over or walk around them, she won't try to come through the doors.
