I am starting a thread for those of us applying to Alvin CC's Fall 2013 ADN program. Is there anyone else out there applying? It would be great to start a group and support each other through the process! Look forward to hearing form you!

Hi! I just saw this thread! I am #3 on the alternate list. I'm hoping I get in for the fall! #3 seems to be a pretty good number to be so I'm staying hopeful! Do you know the date that the college would like people to let them know if they will be attending or not? Congrats to all who were accepted! :)

Well I turned down my spot yesterday so you are now number 2!!! I got into my first choice campus, Alvin is a great program but VERY far for me to drive from Katy! My email said to let them know by the 14th. So you should be getting a call soon!!!!

Oh no! I am sorry. :( I am sure you will get into San jac! I got into my first choice school which I never dreamed of happening so I am sure good news will come your way too!

That's pretty exciting I was #4 on he alternate list and I am now accepted so I know you have been too. Is anyone going to the new student meeting on Friday 8-24?

Hello, I am applying to this program as well as the LVN program here. unfortunately I had to retake Biology and still received a D is there any chance I would be accepted into this program?

Your "D" might be a problem if it hasn't been 5 years. I went to the mandatory meeting and someone there asked if their "F" would be a problem if they had retaken A&P class and made an "A". You mentioned Biology so it may or may not be a problem. It would be best for you to email or contact the ACC's nursing department. ;)

How organized is the RN program at Alvin?
