Alvin community college Adn spring 2019

Thank you for the vote of confidence :) I think they do look at the grades of classes taken twice, but as long as the grade is better it shouldn't be a problem. Your sciences are great so that counts for a lot. Good luck on the Hesi and keep us updated! :)

I applied To Alvin also. They look strongly at gpa (obviously) and your accumulative hesi and the reading portion of the Hesi. This will be my 2nd time applying, the first time I wasnt Yet finished with ap2 and didn't have micro. When I asked Karen about the stats of people accepted last go round she said the lowest GPA accepted was a 3.52 so yes SUPER competitive at Alvin since they don't accept very many. Not trying to get anyone's hopes up I am just being realistic. I'm

Just took the HESI this morning. I may have rushed it, since I completed it in less than 2 hours, but I'm satisfied. I received a cumulative 92. My lowest was in A&P (88), mostly due to the A&P 2 material I haven't covered yet. I'm still hopeful though! Thank you !

I'm relying on my HESI scores to put me at the top with my reading score at 96. My GPA is average and seeing what Karen told you I'm starting to freak out a little. Ah!

After asking Karen, she stated the count was around 200.
