Hi,
One of the nursing schools I'm considering for my BSN offers a class in alternative nursing practices. I'm wondering if any of you who've already started school have taken a class like this, and if you were able to use any of that in your clinicals, or after graduation. I'm particularly interested in Healing Touch, and when I have the time, I'd eventually like to take some classes to learn this technique.
Thanks!

I am taking my masters program via distance education through this college and took several electives on different alternative practices not based on nursing views. In other words the classes were geared towards people without other health degrees so they are rather fun. Check out the website. I got my BS through them too.
