alternative options for nursing degree and career guidance?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Dear All, I would appreciate any advice or feedback. I have a four year undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and moved abroad a few years ago where I went to school and finished with an MSN. I'm currently enrolled in a course to prep for the NCLEX as I have now moved back to the US. I find this exam very overwhelming and concerning so thought it may be best to have a plan b. I doubt I will attempt this exam so I was wondering if there were any suggestions as to how I could possibly use this degree since I won't be able to practice clinically in the US. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So...why are you enrolled in an NCLEX prep course if you think you won't attempt the exam? Doesn't make sense to me. Sounds like you have a defeatist attitude. Not sure how to help you.

I enrolled because I thought I would be able to pass and practice.
