There is a ton of information here:
Lots of links to other sites about all kinds of alternative medicine.
What an interesting (but broad!) topic for a paper! :)

Yoga is such a broad category, acupunture would be easier to address. Check with local chiropractors, they should have lots of handout type information.
If you are looking for a pt. oriented therapy you may want to look into acupressure. It follows all the same meridians, but doesn't use needles, so anyone can learn it and use it. A good site for a basic explanation is: http://www.garynull.com/Helpline/Org/Acupressurelnst.htm
There is an Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA
Check with Borders, Barnes and Noble or Amazon for books.
Magazine articles would be found in :
Massage and Bodywork Magazine
Massage Magazine
AMTA Journal (American Massage Therapy Journal) - Spring 2001 issue has a great article on acupressure for babies
No matter which topic you choose, there will be a ton of information available on the web. The biggest challenge will be weeding through the advertisement sites. Good luck and have fun with this assignment.
I use the Nursing Herbal Medicine Handbook frequently at my job and I love http://www.tnp.com............The natural pharmacist. It has referrences for research, and alternative modalities.

Hello Everybody,
I have just been assigned a paper on alternative medicine. I am curious if any of you know of any good websites. Or if any of you practice any type of alternative med. I am interested in yoga or accupuncture, but I am not sure I will be able to find enough information to my paper. Any help would be helpful.
Thanks,
