alternative credit

does any one know what ace credit would satisfy written english and mathematics? i have wrote to advisor but have got no where. written english and math are deffinatly challenging to say the least. im just looking to an alternative credit. also if i were to take ace credit for those courses would i still be able to take a few clep exams? i wasnt sure if they are counted as the same an limit the amount. thanks for reading

You could ask your advisor if you can take the CLEP or DSST math, the Uexcel College Writing fulfills the written english - I don't know if the Contemporary math Uexcel is the right one - they are both $95, but others have taken ALEKS math online for their credit.

thanks. i wonder if excelsior would except ALEKS for written english an math? ill look into it. from what i understand ALEKS is more of a course not a one time exam to test competency. thats what i need. i also wonder is ALEKS is counted as clep? i know theres a limit. any thoughts? thanks again for any help. dev

I believe ALEKS courses are ACE credits, CLEP is CLEP exams only.
