Last summer 2011, I applied for the Spring 2012 program and I was #7 on the alternate list. They called me in November to offer me a seat. I had to forfeit my seat because I was due for a c-section in March, so clinicals was not something I was going to be able to do right after having my baby.
Hey SouthBeach. I didn't have to take the Hesi exam for Augusta State. I had to take the TEAS Test. I did horribly on it. I made a 64, but 64 is the national score. That's all they look for. I am not on the waiting list. I am on the alternates list. I don't know if you know the difference in the two, but I just found out myself. A waitlist is a list they continuously use. A alternate list is list of names they have in case someone decides they no longer want to go. The alternate list usually contains about 11- 20 people. If everyone shows up on the first day of class, they no longer use it anymore. Those chosen for the alternates list have to re-apply. The wait is killing me too. Please keep in touch. I could use the support... :)

I want to know has anyone out there ever been called for acceptance after being selected for the alternates list. If so, tell us your story. :)
