Hello, I had a few questions. Has anyone been selected as an alternate for the Tarrant County College nursing program? Am I suppose to get a background check and drug test on my own or wait for them to tell me to do so? Thanks in advance guys.

Rules change, so even if you find someone who has been in your situation, their information may not be accurate. And if it's a current alternate, their understanding may not be accurate. Don't chance it. I was an alternate for my program and did have to get the background check, drug test, vaccines, attend orientation, etc. If I hadn't bee ready to "jump in" when I spot opened, they would have quickly moved on to the next applicant in line.Good luck!
