Alternate Question

Published

Hi Everyone!

I hope that someone can shed a little light for me..... I got my acceptance letter for Ivy Tech Btown last week. I am admitted to the LPN program but I am also an alternate for the ASN program!! (yeah!! :D I figured ASN was out, so I am really excited to be an alternate!!) Does anyone know how many alternates they usually have? Do you think it would be ok to email and ask what number I am, or should I wait until after the 15th? (the date listed for a response to btown.) Has anyone been in the same boat? Thanks for any insight!! :bowingpur

It seems like it's becoming more common for people to apply to more than one campus so I wonder if that gives alternates a better chance. I gave up my spot at Indy already, so hopefully someone nice gets that spot. I hope you get the ASN spot too! We'll have to meet up at orientation :)

I'm giving up my btown ASN spot and know 2 others doing the same thing, so maybe you'll get in!!! Not sure how many alts though.

Lennon: I hope I can join you in the ASN program!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me. I think we could become good study buddies!!!

Indy: Three people giving up their spots!!!! WOW!!! That made my night!!!

Thanks to both of you!
