Hi! I was accepted as an alternate applicant into my school's nursing program, which means I'll only get accepted if one of the students that was fully accepted decide not to go to the nursing school here. I was wondering if anyone here was an alternate applicant and if they made it in or not. Thanks!

Depending on the number of alternate applicants, you should have a good chance of getting in. Most people hedge their bets by applying to multiple nursing schools. They can only accept one school which leaves openings at other schools.
There are 60 students that got in and 20 students in the applicant pool.

Is the wait list ranked? Some schools give you an idea of where you stand in the alternate pool. You could try asking them.

At my school many of the alternates get in. That said my school selects alternates prior to drug and TEAS testing and, sadly, those 2 tests tend to weed out a fairly good amount of students.
