Do your drapes have a built in pocket to hold the fluid? It has a device on the end that can be connected to suction. Sorry, I only know of the Puddle Guppy too...and 4 cannister tandem suction.
Yeah We've got the fluid pouches and We use a Stryker Neptune fluid management device which holds 20 liters of fluid. We do the Arthro RCR, Bankart, Slap yada yada repairs and the pouches never really quite work completely. I've used the suction mats but they suck and I don't mean just literally.
Maybe I'll need to do some inventing or something.

What are you guys using to preventing fluid going all over the floor during Arthroscopy cases (Especially Shoulder and Hip)? Our draping systems are woefully inadequate so inevitably I wind up cleaning up lake erie after every case.
I use a Puddle Guppy, however the fluid flow is so unpredictable that I rarely get the device where the issue is.
