Allergy to Alcohol??

I don't know where else to post this, but I need help!!

I've been drinking since I was 16...and then within the last year, alcohol would cause wheezing which is probably from the GERD I was diagnosed with a year ago. Is that the same thing as being allergic to it?? PLEASE ANYONE...I'm only asking because it's my 21st birthday tomorrow, and I really want to drink! Other than that, I have stopped drinking and have accepted my position as permanent designated driver =( I'm almost positive it is the GERD that is causing the wheezing, so would taking pepcid AC before hand help?

Everyone here will tell you that it is a violoation of the TOS to give medical advice.

That being said, the only person that can answer that question would be your doctor.
