All FSCJ Spring 2013 Hopefuls

Hi everyone! I decided to start this thread in hopes of seeing if there is anyone excited about applying to the fscj RN program spring 2013. I am currently taking a microbiology class this summer. I would have applied for fall 2012 but met with some technical difficulties. I have 206 in total points w/o micro. Let's stay in touch and keep this ball rolling!

Does anyone have any idea on how many seats will be open in Summer 2013

If you look back in this forum you'll see the spring cut off. I think the summer seats are 96.

Thanks so much, I did glance back and didn't see even the Spring. (Lot of posts to read). So then should I think summer would be less like it is at UNF? I also saw where they took 14 out of county for spring, I wonder if that is the same?

So many questions sorry.

Out of county gets 10% of seats.

Thanks that is not all that bad. I wonder just how many applicants there are? I am sure they get several hundred.

It's no problem...you've got to ask q's...there's too much info that's not really shared from the schools...lol. Oh and I was talking about summer...the spring and fall take in like 150 or so. Well this is what the old app says so I'm unsure of the number now. But summer was 96 :)

According to fall 2012 thread fscj recently made a change and equalized the numbers to 144 each term if i am not mistaken.

Wow that would be great if they took that many on each term. That would confirm the other person that indicated that FSCJ took 14 county applicants which would be that 10% number.Wonder if everyone applies to St. Johns also. I understand if you live in that county you get an extra 10 points. That really could help some get in.

It is a lot of ppl! :) I just looked at the app and it says 144 for spring, 96 for summer and 168 for fall...spring nurse if they have equaled it...awesome! That's a lot! Lol. We need more RNs. I just want to be RN. I'm over waiting. I've worked so hard and its time...il be the best! im not trying to be mean...love u all... I've gotta set Standards for myself, and I only set the best!

I hope you get in. I know you will be great!!! Standards are very good. Is this your first try to get into the program? I will say a prayer for all hopefuls.

Yes it's my first time. Ugh it's taken so long :) but i kinda like school ;) thanks for the prayers...I pray everyday...for everyone and everything :) good luck to you as well :0)

This is my first time also. How was the test, I haven't taken it yet. Some say hard, some say easy I hope easy. I read that there was 360 questions OMG and I read on the FSCJ site that you only had about 2 hours to complete the 5 sections.
