All Fall 2018 Nursing Hopefuls

Published

I will be applying to a couple of nursing programs at the end of this year and the beginning of the next and I am so excited!

I cant believe that the time is almost here for me to be a nursing student and a nurse. I know that it's still early for me to be saying this but I get more excited every day.

So where are you applying and how does it feel to know that this is really (hopefully) happening?

I am actually a Fall 2017 hopeful, but I am very excited. However, the anxiety and wait is really hard too, haha. I have applied to Long Beach City College ADN, Rio Hondo ADN, CSU San Marcos ABSN, and Emory ABSN so far. I should hear from them in April or May. If I don't get into any of those, I will continue to apply to Johns Hopkins MEPN, UCLA MECN, and USD MSN. It feels great to finally be done with prereqs and actually applying!

Congratulations! It's great that you applied to a good number of programs. April is pretty soon! I hope you get in and good luck :)

I can't wait to be done with the prerequisites.

Yup, same boat for me. I am about to finish my last pre-req this summer and I will be apply to schools the rest of this year for entry either next Summer or Fall 2018 depending on the program. I'm also very excited that I get to continue the journey with applications and to finally get a chance to apply and look into the graduate programs I am interested in. I just came back from visiting one of schools I am interested in. It was a beautiful campus in a lovely city. It definitely helps to visit the campus beforehand to get the lay of the land to see if the both the school and the environment is a right fit for you. Good luck to everyone!

I am finishing up my prereqs this summer (micro and a&p2) and this fall (chem and stats) and I will be applying to TWU for the fall 2018 evening/wkend program since I work during the day (full time). Good luck everyone!
