Has anyone tried Alegria's workwear line?
I am in medical sales and some of "my" nurses have been asking me about them. I have heard good things, but I figured I would go straight to the the source. A lot of the nurses in our area of NC have started wearing them and seem to enjoy them, but I wanted to get an outside opinion as well. The most common ones that I have seen in the hospitals that I frequent are the plain white closed back shoes, but I know that some hospitals allow clogs as well.
On the recommendation of some of my nurse friends, I have worn Alegria's sandals and clogs and LOVE them, but its always nice to get the opinion of outside nurses before I give advice to any of my other friends and nurses. Thanks for any input you can give! I know of three units that will thank you!

I wear Alegrias and LOVE them. I'm still in school but I'm working as a tech at night too so I'm on my feet a lot. I don't have the professional Alegrias but I have a regular pair of clogs.
I have wider feet and a high arch and i'm not a huge fan of Danskos anymore. The Alegrias have memory foam soles that I think ROCK!!!
They do have a rocking sole which takes a day or two to get used to but i think they do make me stand up straighter which does help my back at the end of the day.
I'm about to buy another pair too!

I don't have their professional line but I have a pair of Classic Clog Red Scribble and a pair of Paloma. They are super comfy and my feet still feel great after walking and standing for all day. And I also get compliment on how the cute the Clog looks and ask me where I get them from every time I wear them. BTW, do you know Alegria has a facebook page? There are reviews from other nurses that you could read into which may give you better ideas. its facebook.com/alegriashoes

AMAZING. I will never wear anything else. I have a pair of the brown clogs and I have worked 5 12 hour shifts in a row in these shoes without any soreness. Everyone on my floor wears them and everyone loves them. They. Are. Amazing.

I have a pair of purple croc clogs that I bought from the closeout section of Alegria's website and I LOVE them! I work 12 hour shifts either mostly standing in a small area (scrubbing) or walking quickly over a large area (circulating) and they are the best shoes I have found by far. I wore Dansko's for a long time but they cramp my toes late in the day. I also tried Klogs but they made my feet too hot/sweaty, and I loved Merrell clogs but they didn't quite have the support I need.
I think the Alegrias have the best all-around fit, support and roominess. I haven't tried the work style, but I bet they are just as great. My feet and legs feel much better at the end of shift than they did wearing anything else!
