ALBERTA LPN - Pay STEPS QUESTION

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there can help me. I start a new job as a LPN in Alberta in a few weeks and and trying to collect my letters of recognition of previous experience. I was wondering if anyone knows how many hours it takes to move up a step in pay??

First one is over 2000 hours, afterwards it's around 1820 for all the others. Just check the back of the AUPE contract book, it's in there somewhere. For some reason I think it's article 29?

Thanks! I couldn't find it anywhere in the book so figured I'd try allnurses fora rough estimate.

Thanks again

I can't find my contract but I do know it's in there. Something to do with pay increments and vacation calculation. I just remember the numbers seeming to be really random.
