Albany Med CRNA 2020

Hi all! I noticed that there was no thread for Albany Med's CRNA program for the fall 2020 cohort. I applied to the program and I have an interview coming up in a few days. Please share your experiences if you have interviewed at or are a current student in the program.

yes, any info on what the interview is like?

A lot of technical questions? CCRN Prep? Or more get to know you and your job interview type questions?

Hi all. I'm also interviewing for Aug 2020 start next week. Any helpful insight into the nerve wracking interview? I'm just preparing for the worst- CCRN type exam, in-depth clinical and pharm questions, personal questions, intubating mannequins, 100 crunches in two minutes etc. Any thoughts? thanks all!

Hey all...I'm also interviewing this week for Albany as an alternate. Any information from the guys/girls that have been accepted regarding what the interview was like would be much appreciated.

Hi. I’m not sure how it’s changed and if it is a virtual interview for you now, but when I interviewed in December it started with a CCRN exam, and then four individual interviews with faculty. They are very personable, only one or two clinical questions. Good luck!

Hi all, How long did it take between completing your application to getting an interview at the Albany med nurse anesthesia program? Also, were they very strict on the GRE scores?

Did you submit your application yet?  Re: GRE scores, as long as you meet the minimum scores they are OK!
