Alanta New Grad Residency Programs 2017

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

Hello! I started applying for the new graduate RN programs in Atlanta (Piedmont, Northside, Emory, etc.) and I was wondering if anyone know their interview process? I am from Arizona and graduate at the end of April, so it is difficult for me to travel in my last semester from over here. Is anyone else applying for these jobs!?

Nope. I seen on another board that someone got a job offer from Piedmont, but I haven't even gotten a call for an interview. lol It worries me!

Really for this summer? I haven't heard back from them.

UPDATE: Still haven't been contacted either!

I was contacted by Northside today at Cherokee for med surg. I told them my top choice is ER so she's forwarding me to the ED recruiter and she will get back to me!

Hello,

We've been responding in another thread and I'd love to check out the thread that indicates someone has received an offer for Piedmont-Atlanta. I have seen someone will interview with Mountainside & Newnan -Piedmont but no other sights.

I did interview with Emory and WellStar the first week of March. Emory had hundreds of individuals interview and it was not like any interview I've ever experienced because there were many interviews happening simultaneously; however, I did enjoy each of them for ICU. I certainly hope there is flexibility for individuals who weren't able to interview on March 3rd. I was fortunate it happened during our Soeubg break, which allowed me to travel in for the four interviews with two hospitals. Praying for all our success!

Hello! I have not heard back from Piedmont. Unfortunately, I was not able to interview for Emory as it was the day of an exam and they would not accommodate or do a skype interview!

Congrats.....I didn't apply to Northside.

Has anyone applied/heard from CHOA?

Can you advise of pay offers and shift diff. I finally received an email.

Hello,

It's been a while since I've been online because I was studying like crazy and I'm proud to share I passed the NCLEX! I tested Friday, Jun 16th at 2:00 in New Orleans and received my results Monday, June 19th after paying the $7 fee for quick results. I couldn't wait to share the news and I also decided to accept a job offer at the New Orleans UMC , which is a Level 1 hospital in my dream location ICU! God truly blessed me and although I won't be moving to Atlanta right now, I'm praying after getting a year of experience I'll be fortunate to get an offer at Piedmont next year.

I'm cheering everyone on that hasn't taken their exam yet. Good luck, I started my new job this week and have no doubt we will all be great compassionate RNs soon!!!
