Air Force Reserve Clinical RN

Anyone know what a reserve clinical nurse does in the AFR? Do you work at bedside or is it more like an outpatient setting? Figured I would ask since we have a ton of info on reserve flight RNs (which is still an option for me).

Hmmm, I would call outpatient at the bedside too... They will place you in a nursing job doing whatever that reserve unit does. The best bet is to contact local units, ask for a tour or a meeting as to what they do. You can then apply directly to the unit and they will help you with recruiting.

You are allowed to do that? Just contact a local unit and get a tour and whatnot?

Yes, as long as it is not in area 51.

So you admit Area 51 exists? (JK, I know it does. What they do I have no idea haha). I will have to get a hold of my closest reserve station and find out if I could shadow/talk with someone.
