What exactly do we new graduate nurses do in NTP? Is it like an externship where we follow someone one on one, do we have Sim Lab situtations? etc...

What are hours like with NTP?

No problem, but after reading my post. I meant COT, not NTP. :)

COT - they'll tell you in your first week about arrangements for family. There's a family day, so to speak, on the Thursday before graduation, and then the class Dining Out (if you have a dining out - if you have a dining in it's military only and they'll tell you which it will be in plenty of time to make plans) will be that night. Usually only the summer surge classes - the ones in June and August - have dining ins and it's because the classes are HUGE (my class, 10-01, in October, had 103 people, but the class before us, 09-07, had close to three times that). Graduation is on Friday. You can leave immediately after your certificates are presented in your flight rooms by your flight commander. I left later on that afternoon so I wouldn't have to rush around with everyone else, and then that night a few of us who were still in town went out to dinner that night. It was fun to hang out with five of my flightmates and a few of their family members outside of COT! I had to drive to Texas and I knew I wouldn't get very far that first day, so I left Saturday morning and spent Friday night in Montgomery.
