How many Air Force bases have hospitals with ICU's?

Thanks Shimano, are the areas being converted to real estate safe? Houses for rent? I was also wondering how much average cost of utilities would be. How much is internet/cable there?

Sorry for the loose language...I meant parts of the hospital are being converted for more inpatient beds to take the patients who would've gone to Wilford Hall. Still stand by Alamo Heights being one of the closest/safest areas to rent near BAMC.

Internet is like 50 ish per month for high speed wireless and all that. I don't have cable, but I think it's about the same. Our utilities are pretty high b/c of our lifestyle: lights/gas/trash is about 100-200 per month; and water is about 50-125 per month. Hope that helps

Thanks Shimano, this helps a lot! If you don't mind me asking what size your house is, and are you in Alamo heights? We are looking for a 3 bedroom house, and it seems like the majority that we are finding are apartments with 2 bedrooms. Also, how long is the morning commute to BAMC from Alamo heights? I mapquest google mapped it, but I don't know if it takes into consideration traffic at certain times of the day. You can PM me if you want.

Thanks
