I'm looking for nursing school applicants who are applying for the Fall 2019 start.

What is your GPA, Score, and any other applicable info you would like to share. Thanks and Good Luck Everyone!

I am really happy for the ones that did make it into their programs, and wish them congrats. However, I am so completely heartbroken right now that I didnt make it. This was my last shot at doing something with my life to benefot my family, due to finances and other circumstances. I studied super hard, I prayed, I gave it my all. I really did, but in the end it just wasnt enough. ? I know this aint the place for a pity party but yall Im so sad that I didnt make it.

I was told acceptance emails went out two weeks ago, they did have my correct email, verified that, then told that letters will arrive in 5 to 7 business days. They were sent out yesterday but had to be processed through campus mail first.

Don't lose hope until you see a rejection letter. This morning I also did not think that I got in and I've been super bummed because I had not received that acceptance email. How many points did you have Hopefully2019?

Hi guys. I was accepted into the ADN program last semester so I'm going into my second semester this fall. I just came across this thread and wanted to tell ya'll that even though it's hard, in this program you definitely have to have patience! It always seems crazy and hectic. You never know your schedule or clinical rotation until the last minute. I never got an email or packet in the mail and had to get one sent to me the day acceptance letters were due back. There is certainly still time for ya'll to get in, but I do know applying for fall is more competitive. Lots of things are explained in the packet and at orientation. For those that are in, getting your shots and everything lined up is very helpful! Good luck to everyone!!

Thanks,Im trying to stay positive:) I had 23 points. How many did you have?

What shots do we have to have before class? I have the whole list of immunizations needed or titers but if I cant afford to have them all done at once..which ones must be done prior to 1st day of class?

Technically you don't HAVE to have any of them before the first day of school. You will need to have the entire checklist on castlebranch completed before you go to clinicals (maybe the 6th week of school or something like that). It can be expensive. Some students went to Walmart clinic and got them a little cheaper. When you think about having to pay for castlebranch, shots, scrubs, clinical gear, and books it adds up fast! I wish there was a better way to get an estimate of start up cost when you apply but for now I don't think there is. It would help a lot!

RNHopeful2019 what is the clinical schedule like? Do you already have your schedule for fall?

Did you go up to the school to see if you were accepted or how did you find out?

Clinical all depends on which section you get put into. You have one teacher for the fundamentals class but for lab and clinical they only allow a teacher 8 students so they are broken up into sections. Mine was from 645 to 215 every Friday. We will not get our clinical schedule for this upcoming semester until we go to school and unfortunately we start clinical right off the bat unlike 1st semester who have like 9 weeks before they start.

I had emailed the head of nursing and called and left voicemails and never got an answer, so finally i emailed and called boughton and she was able to get me all the information.
