Agencies

Hi all! I am starting to think about travel nursing. As I browse different agencies I realize there are a million lol. I would like to know who you guys travel with and pros and cons of your agency. Thanks!

I'm currently working with 3 agencies I have personally worked with 1 so far, I am on my first travel nurse position, and I have no complaints about the agency I am with now which is Medical Solutions. I am also with RN Network but have not worked a contract with them as well as American Mobile.

Just to get used to travelling I wanted a big agency to start. I used American Mobile, they had tons of jobs and everything was very streamlined with the process. No problem with them at all. I walso wanted their referral bonuses at the time, they offered $2k for each OR nurse. I got a bonus for myself plus 4 others that worked for me at my last staff job as director. We are all still travelling....

I have 3 companies i am "signed up" with and have been on contract with medical solutions for over a year now. Also no problems.

When i am ready to get a new job i get quotes from each company for the area i want to go. I pick the highest rate. It has to be at least $100 a week more, without willingness to negotiate, for me to jump to another company.
